“NEW MG HS” is a meticulous SUV designed to be a prestigious vehicle symbolizing an image of success and an unmatched driving experience under “ELEGANCE” product axiom. It impresses all eyes with an astonishing design language, cabin comfort matching with a sedan with extra utility of an SUV, astonishing performance, the inclusion of i-SMART Intelligent Connectivity System, and a comprehensive range of safety features. 

“NEW MG HS” comes with three variants: C, D, and X. Four exterior color options are available namely Scarlet Red, Arctic White, Black Knight, and Silver Metallic. NEW MG HS is going to be available for test drives and considerations of customers at all 110 MG authorized dealers nationwide from 28 September and delivery will commence from October. 

Elegant Design: Catching All Eyes  

NEW MG HS is a neatly-designed vehicle combining luxuriousness and sportiness altogether. It grabs attention with British Shoulder Line that emphasizes vehicle sleekness while an exclusive radiator grille of MG is themed under ‘Stella Magnetic Field’ as it is inspired by star constellations. LED projector headlamps are also equipped with daytime running lights while Space Light Field tail lights are located on the rear. Sequential turn signals on the front and the rear further uplift vehicle richness in design. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard for the D and X variants while the C uses 17-inch alloy wheels. 

The cabin is ergonomically-design to properly accommodate all occupants. A premium sense can be experienced with visual interplays of cabin elements and the use of soft touch materials at central console as well as all door panels. Exclusive for X version only, driver and front occupant will be supported with sporty bucket seats with Alcantara leather upholstery as well as red and black topstitching. Rear seats come with adjustable backrests, large armrests, and they can additionally be folded in 60:40 pattern for loading convenience. The X version is equipped with a driving mode adjustor with four presets namely Normal for a balanced setup, Eco for fuel economy, Sport for excitement, and Custom for driver who wish to personalize all driving parameters individually. A Super Sport button on steering wheel allows driver to increase engine boost for an emotive feel in a press of a button.

NEW MG HS uses Euro Tuning Suspension which offers riding comfort and confidence. A well-tuned MacPherson Strut is used on the front while a Multi-link suspension ensures comfort on the rear in every possible driving scenario. 

Smart Function: Unique and Intelligent with i-SMART 

NEW MG HS is equipped with i-SMART Intelligent Connectivity System. This exclusive operating system for owners of MG cars maximizes countless connectivity features between the vehicle and every occupant. Smart Command, for instance, is a voice recognition feature in Thai supporting various daily commands such as make a call, control audio system, turn aircon up or down, open or close driver’s side window, or even open or close a sunroof. Furthermore, it can be used to facilitate trip planning by locating points of interest through navigation system. The operating system can also be operated through a touchscreen at the console or via MG Mobile Application on compatible smart devices. Smart Connect is a feature allowing driver to search for songs on online music streaming services, popular restaurants, tourist attractions, and hotels. It can also display latest news or traffic information on central screen too. For security and maintenance, Smart Check gives a worry-free vehicle status update and basic inspection in just taps away. Through MG Mobile Application, it can lock or unlock doors, locate the vehicle, notify if things are not in pristine condition, locate nearby authorized service centers, and digitally record all maintenance history. 

Full-Fledge Safety Systems 

NEW MG HS affirms safety in every journey with a highly-strength Full Space Frame (FSF) structure. 25 preventative safety features built under European safety standards are bundled as Advanced Synchronized Protection Systems. 14 of them are Synchronized protection system offering proactive vehicle protection before an accident with extra braking power or vehicle stability enhancement. Examples of systems built into this safety suite are Curve Brake Control (CBC), Anti Rolling Program (ARP), and Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS).
